Every Stag has a story to tell. And when you're buying one if you don’t know what you’re looking for you could be walking into a minefield.

A lot of people are excited about getting a car like a Stag for the first time in their life. It’s all too easy to get carried away with the thought of finally owning one, driving off with the roof down, and listening to the rumble of that V8.

Sometimes that feeling can be short-lived if you’re not careful about what you are buying with your “hard-earned”. It's hard to tell what condition a Stag is really in just by looking at it. Sadly, at StagBay we know too many people that purchased a Stag and have had to spend thousands on it just to get it up to a reasonable standard for driving.

We will carry out a full inspection and give you a completely neutral report on the vehicle’s condition..

Full check for corrosion on the body and underside
Condition of wheels and tyres and how old they are
Condition of engine, gearbox, running gear and suspension
Condition of softop and frame and/or hardtop
Condition of interior and all switchgear

Once the condition of all the above has been inspected we can tell you the cost to put anything right that needs replacing or repairing and if it needs to be done straight away for safety purposes or if it can wait until you are ready to address.

Once you have your report, you can point out the issues we’ve found to the seller before you buy. That way, you can ask the seller if they can fix it or reduce the price before you part with your money.
